Seed and Mulch conventional seeding is a method of seed application that is desirable for flat or semi flat areas, usually large and wide open. The area is prepped by using an aggressive pull behind drag, then seed is spread with a pull behind broadcast seeder followed by fertilizer application. Hay mulch is then blown to cover the entire seeded area and “cut in” via cultipacker. This method of seeding works well on large flat areas and tends to protect the seed from the elements until establishment.
Any combination of seed varieties can be used with this method of seeding and as always, our seed rates meet or exceed application specifications.
